bazaar bizarre 2009

Hello! I've been super busy getting ready for Boston Bazaar Bizarre which is only three days away! eek! It should be a rollicking good time and you should really stop by if you have the chance. I believe there will be live music as well as DJs and some snacks and even beer! (At least there was beer the last time I went as a shopper a few years ago.) And of course a plethora of amazing handmade goodness! Please stop by my table and say hello, I will be somewhere in the middle at table 80. I'll have a few new items that are not even available in the shop yet such as cute little paper sacks with cupcakes, bows, and trees printed on them. :: Hope to see you there!

Hello Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful Thanksgiving or perhaps simply a wonderful Thursday. Eat lots of turkey (if that's your thing), sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie, then pass out into a coma and when you awake maybe you'll be in the mood to do something crafty, like make a paper flower chandelier? shop update!

Ah, I finally added new items to the shop! It feels long overdue. Check out the new HOLIDAY section and tell me what you think. I'll be adding more items to the shop in general over the next few weeks. I'll keep you posted. :)

photo shoot / sneak peak

Here's a peek into my latest photo shoot for the shop. My ikea kitchen table works well as a neutral background (as you may notice, it's in almost every picture I take!) and the big picture window in the kitchen gets the best light. The mornings are the best time to take photos, even on overcast days like today. In fact, overcast sometimes is better because it evens out the light and creates less shadows. Also, you're getting a sneak peek of some of my new holiday cards and tags. Stay tuned for a shop update which is coming very soon!
